Unmanned breeding robots (smart farm systems) developed by VandalSoft Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Bong-hak) have been installed at the research institute located in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do.
The recently unveiled “Unmanned breeding robot for mealworms” is a product developed by VandalSoft, which integrates an automatic breeding robot into its insect smart farm. Through the Insect Hub platform, which monitors and controls the breeding environment inside the breeding room, the environment for insect breeding can be automatically set, allowing the robot to automatically breed insects.
One of the features is the ability to automatically breed various insects used in various industrial fields, including mealworms, commonly known as mealworm, and flower beetles, known as Protaetia brevitasis seulensis
Breeding mealworms can cause significant odor issues, but VandalSoft’s unmanned breeding robot for mealworms addresses this problem by automatically circulating air through the intake and exhaust lines and reducing odor and gas through odor reduction devices and filters.
